Throughout the week we have gotten quite a bit done on the wagon bay. The engine is pulled and front end is tore down. The bay was already previously shaved so in this case everything had to be taken down to bare metal. We decided to take a different approach with this car. Going to make all new engine mount brackets. In fact we got rid of all the extra panels that these EF bays have.
In order to make the new mounts we had to make some temporary target points for the mounts. Otherwise we would have to have the engine/trans in the bay and that would make things much more difficult to work around. Also considering the order we are doing this they were necessary. Heres some pics of the progress. Next week well will start the plates.
