This EG bay is just about wrapped up. Heres a couple pics.
Working on an EG hatch engine bay doing all the welding and plate work. Got a pretty good start on it today. Most of the holes are gone and the plate work has begun. Heres a few pics of the progress. Also got a pic of John Moore's Ruckus from Winterfest. Yesterday I got the cage and base plates completely welded out. All thats left is install the x bars and paint it. Last time I did an X bar setup I welded the cage after they were installed. This was a big mistake, made it very difficult to weld the cage with those in there. So this go around I fixed that problem. Here is a couple pics of the progress. Most of the pics I took came out bad with the sun in the way so theres not much to post. Ill have another update tonight upon completion.
Made some good progress on Austin's roll bar setup yesterday. The entire kit is in place and fit up minus the rear x bars. Stay tuned for the finished product.
So a few weeks back had some pictures taken of one of the shop cars and while he was here we did some of the shop as well. I just happend to be there working on the RHD swap that night so it worked out good. This will be Part 1 of the shoot. Stay tuned for more.
All photos taken by Ren Wacht Today was a pretty productive day. Got quite a bit done on the DC2 roll bar. Both front base plates are finished and installed, main hoop and harness bar are installed and the rear struts are coped and ready to install. Hopefully I can wrap up this cage by monday.
Some good progress on John's Ruckus as well. Finished the shock mount and got the exhaust installed. The system was made for another type of bike, we just retro fit it to this Ruckus. Here is some pics from today, enjoy. Yesterday I got started on the roll bar set up for Austin's Integra. So far the sound deadning has been removed and baseplates have been made. Today I will be working on getting the cage built and tacked in place. Hopefully get started on the welding. There will be some more prgress on the strecthed ruckus as well, so stay tuned for another blog post tonight. Sorry for the crappy photo quality.
So lately I have been helping my good friend John Moore with his Ruckus project. Getting a nice stretch and a center shock setup. Its still definately a work in progress but it getting there. Here are a few pics of how it sits now. See it at WinterFest in FL in a couple weeks.
